Tellor takes a different approach to the أوراكل problem than Chainlink or Band Protocol. Rather than a permissioned network of node operators, Tellor uses proof-of-work miners who compete to submit data values on-chain, an approach that preserves decentralization at the cost of latency. Any submitted value can be disputed by TRB stakers within a challenge window, with incorrect submissions subject to slashing. This dispute mechanism creates economic accountability where أوراكل manipulation becomes costly. Miners competing with proof-of-work submit data values to Tellor’s on-chain contract. The contract accepts a value when a miner reaches the required hash difficulty وembeds it alongside the proof-of-work solution.
